Legend Groundbrteaker 12v Ultimate off-road , The 150mm A-frame connects to an overengineered Legend design S&M truss which is Hot Dipped Galvanized, the whole caravan is taken care by Cruisemaster 4500kg DO45 hitch to the tow vehicle. Suspension is Cruisemaster’s most robust system in its ATX Coil system. Stopping power comes from 12in Electric Brakes. All the Water outlets on the Groundbreaker are guarded against stone damage which also instead of using PVC connectors we have gone next level and have committed to use all Brass Fittings. This van also comes with few rated Recovery points which will be handy for when recovery is needed. Our Legend caravans are built with an aluminium frame construction which are put together with hanrob self-piercing riveting system this allows for some movement over extreme conditions to avoid cracking. The frame components of the roof and walls are lock-bolted together as well as to the chassis to create a solid and enduring entity, Self-piercing rivets also eliminate heat problems associated with spot welding pure aluminum and aluminum alloys, which melt below 800 C. And, the fasteners are compatible with galvanized and coated surfaces, minimizing damage and eliminating recoating or replating, unlike spot welding.

A lockbolt provides approximately 100% bearing area in the locking grooves. Using a nut and screw there is only 30% – 35% contact and the applications is vibration sensitive.

When it comes to the self-loosening effect under vibration load we are all aware of the Junker test, which monitors a bolted joint as it loses its preload when subjected to shear loading caused by transverse vibration. Compared to conventional bolts and nuts, lockbolts demonstrate superior vibration resistance.

Groundbreaker and all Legend Caravans are built with one Piece Honey-Comb light weight Floor Rot free, the roof is specially constructed with one piece fiberglass sandwich panels which is rot free , Exceptional Strength, Hail resistant also gives you premium insulation Thermal and Acoustic protection.

Exterior cladding is a composite panel of aluminium sheets over an insulating polyethylene core. Voids in the walls are filled with AIR-CELL Insuliner — a closed cell fire-resistant core inside reflective foil to temper heat and cold.

fittings to all its plumbing. We are first manufacturer in the industry to include Brass fittings to the caravan Hot and Cold water. Legend Caravans plumbers have over 60 years of

experience in caravan industry. All our caravans that are fitted with gas are tested and provided with gas certificate. Our Plumbing team is all about finding and providing solutions to all of your caravan plumbing needs. When caravans are fitted with outdoor cooking, we provide hot and cold water connection for easy access.

Electrical – Legend Groundbreaker 12v Ultimate Off-Road is equipped with Premium electrical system, this model comes with 400ah of 12v Lithium Battery or 2 x 200ah Enerdrive BTEC Batteries stored safely.

Enerdrive Battery management system is created specifically for our Groundbreaker, the system contains, 2 x 30amp MPPT Solar Regulators, 1 x 40+ DcDc Charger, 3000w Combi Enerdrive Inverter Charger, 800w Solar panels or 4 x 200w.

Also this van is fitted with 2 x 9kg Gas bottles that will run the Hot water System and Cocktop inside the caravan, Outdoor Kitchen is electric but you have a choice of Gas or Electric.

At Legend caravans we specialise in electrical systems there fore we have number of different systems available for upgrade for example , we can do Custom Victron System with 12, 24 and 48v , RedArc Management system and our best and premium set up EcoFlow 48v System.
