CHASIS, EXTERIOR & CONSTRUCTION

Legend Trackline chassis combined with the strong aluminium frame construction give the trackline off-road van a quality finish and peace of mind whilst touring the outback of Australia. a quick glance at the chassis and you know it means business. The 150mm A-frame connects to an overengineered Legend design S&M Chassis, it sits on 8” Australian made chassis which gives plenty of clearance, but it runs a few extra support beams which go a heck of a long way in terms of strength and off-road reliability.

The whole caravan is taken care by Cruisemaster 3500kg DO35 hitch to the tow vehicle. Suspension is Cruisemaster’s most robust system in its XT unit, as this Model only comes in Single and Tandem Axle, Cruise Master now can be upgrade up to 4.5t ATM , and Stopping power comes from 12in Electric Brakes.  

We are committed to use all Brass fittings in our full range instead of PVC connectors this gives you a next level of protection without adding extra weight on protection.

This van also comes with few rated Recovery points which will be handy for when recovery is needed.

Our Legend caravans are built with an aluminium frame construction which are put together with hanrob self-piercing riveting system this allows for some movement over extreme conditions to avoid cracking. The frame components of the roof and walls are lock-bolted together as well as to the chassis to create a solid and enduring entity, Self-piercing rivets also eliminate heat problems associated with spot welding pure aluminum and aluminum alloys, which melt below 800 C. And, the fasteners are compatible with galvanized and coated surfaces, minimizing damage and eliminating recoating or replating, unlike spot welding.

A lockbolt provides approximately 100% bearing area in the locking grooves. Using a nut and screw there is only 30% – 35% contact and the applications is vibration sensitive.

When it comes to the self-loosening effect under vibration load we are all aware of the Junker test, which monitors a bolted joint as it loses its preload when subjected to shear loading caused by transverse vibration. Compared to conventional bolts and nuts, lockbolts demonstrate superior vibration resistance.

Trackline Off-Road and all Legend Caravans are built with one Piece Honey-Comb light weight Floor Rot free, the roof is specially constructed with one piece fiberglass sandwich panels which is rot free , Exceptional Strength, Hail resistant also gives you premium insulation Thermal and Acoustic protection.

Exterior cladding is a composite panel of aluminium sheets over an insulating polyethylene core. Voids in the walls are filled with AIR-CELL Insuliner — a closed cell fire-resistant core inside reflective foil to temper heat and cold.

Beautifully finished joinery and rich Microfiber Leather upholstery project an upmarket ambience, while the high 1.96m ceiling adds to the welcoming and spacious atmosphere.

The customisable design of our Legend Drawer Systems supports the latest living trends and opens a wide range of design possibilities. The side panels are straight both on the inside and outside and are impressively slim at just 12.8 mm.

This means they can be integrated harmoniously into any furniture and will give you more usable space. Legend Caravans Drawer system leads the way in terms of technology. Fitted with the SPECIAL cabinet profile, boasts low opening forces, a synchronised feather-light glide and gives you the flexibility to implement three different motion technologies. The soft-close function adapts to the motion technology employed.

 Enerdrive Battery Management system is a compact and designed for RV environments where simplified installation is essential. The system comes with 40+ DcDc Charger which also take the input for the Solar Panels, 40amp Ac/Dc Charger, Epro Monitor and all this is taken care of with the Enerdrive 200ah Lithium Battery, and mix of 200W solar panels and control modules.

Today, Enerdrive design, manufacture, and source world class products from leading edge companies like Delta Q, Morningstar, Blue Sea Systems, TBS Electronics & Xantrex. Enerdrive embarked on its own “Brand Identification” program some 5 years ago and started private labelling products for the Australian market. These included our eLITE & ePRO battery monitors, Magnasine Inverter/Chargers, Dual Battery kits & VSR relays. With the success of these items in the market place, we added more lines to this portfolio including off grid fixed and folding solar panels and regulators, inverters & DC2DC converters.

In recent times Enerdrive has embarked on its own manufacturing program. We saw the need to control our own destiny and produce high-end products that the Australian market place was demanding. This program has led to Enerdrive manufacturing its own range of ePOWER AC battery chargers & DC2DC battery chargers, alongside Lithium battery systems. Including our own branded products, Enerdrive are the largest stockist of Blue Sea electrical installation equipment in Australia.
