Founded in 2008 by brothers Zoran and Robert Stojanoski, Legend Caravans began with a shared dream: to create premium Australian caravans that owners could travel in with confidence, comfort and pride.

Built on strong family values, personal service and a genuine passion for craftsmanship, that dream has grown into one of Australia’s most respected boutique caravan manufacturers.

From our purpose-built factory and showroom in Somerton, Melbourne—located in the heart of Australia’s caravan manufacturing industry—every Legend Caravan is thoughtfully designed, carefully engineered and meticulously constructed by a team that takes pride in every detail.

Our philosophy has remained unchanged from the beginning: quality over quantity.

For almost two decades, we have focused on creating a limited number of individually built caravans each year. This allows us to maintain greater control over quality while giving every customer the personal attention and flexibility they deserve.

Each Legend Caravan is proudly designed and built in Australia using carefully selected materials, trusted components and advanced manufacturing technology. We believe true luxury is about more than beautiful finishes. It is found in structural strength, intelligent engineering, thoughtful design and the confidence that your caravan has been built for the journey ahead.

Today, we build approximately 120 bespoke caravans each year, with every caravan tailored to suit its owner’s lifestyle, preferences and travel ambitions.

Over the years, the Groundbreaker has continued to evolve alongside advancements in construction, suspension, electrical technology and off-grid systems. Each improvement has been deliberate, with premium features and equipment progressively incorporated into its standard specification.

What Does RME Mean?

The name RME, pronounced letter by letter—“R-M-E”—is a clever phonetic reference to the word “Army.”

The name was chosen to represent strength, resilience, purposeful design and engineering ingenuity. These are the same qualities behind every element of the RME Pack and reflect Legend Caravans’ commitment to creating caravans that are strong, capable and ready for Australia’s most demanding adventures.

Our continued pursuit of innovation led to the development of the exclusive RME Pack—a carefully engineered enhancement package created for owners who want to take strength, capability and independence even further.

The RME Pack is more than a collection of accessories. It represents a complete design philosophy focused on improving durability, functionality, storage, protection and off-grid performance.

Distinctive exterior styling is combined with purpose-designed equipment, enhanced storage solutions and carefully integrated features to create a caravan with a commanding presence and exceptional practicality.

Developed through real-world experience and precision manufacturing, the RME Pack enhances the caravan without compromising the luxury, refinement and attention to detail for which Legend Caravans is known.

Expanded In-House Manufacturing

The development of the RME Pack has also driven a significant expansion of our in-house manufacturing capabilities.

A growing range of specialised aluminium components and accessories is now designed and manufactured under one roof. These include custom toolboxes, formed aluminium components, wood-storage boxes, access doors, electrical access doors, heavy-duty rear bars, specialised external corners and many other purpose-built caravan accessories.

Bringing these capabilities in-house gives us greater control over design, fitment, finish and overall quality. It also allows our team to create integrated solutions specifically for each caravan rather than relying solely on generic, mass-produced components.

This vertically integrated approach strengthens our ability to innovate, customise and continuously improve. From the caravan’s core construction to its specialised exterior components, every element can be developed to work together as one complete design.
