Precision Aluminium Frame Construction

Every Legend Caravan is built on a precision-engineered aluminium frame, assembled using the advanced Hanrob self-piercing riveting system.

This sophisticated manufacturing process allows controlled flexibility under stress, reducing the risk of cracking when travelling over challenging terrain. Unlike traditional spot welding, this method avoids heat exposure that can weaken aluminium alloys.

The frame structure — including roof and wall assemblies — is lock-bolted directly to the chassis, creating an exceptionally strong and integrated body structure.

Lockbolt technology provides up to 100% bearing surface contact within the locking grooves, compared to only 30–35% in traditional nut-and-bolt systems, resulting in a far stronger and more vibration-resistant construction.
